These are, of course, the patriarch and matriarch of this branch of the Rousset family tree. I think that beyond the communication factors, some other kinds of web content might help the two of them stay interested in our website. This means further web development by me, but I think that the ideas I'm presenting here are within reach, even given my somewhat limited development capabilities.

I'd like to come up with an area dedicated to our family tree. I know that this is something that interests Mom and, I think, Dad. I know for sure that Aunt Denise will be thrilled if we are able to put something into production here! In all honesty, though, I think that just getting our name out on the Internet will help us determine our roots. I also plan on translating some of the relevant areas of the website into French to ensure that we are able to communicate effectively with our distant french-speaking relatives.

So, hopefully Mom and Dad find these ideas interesting enough to warrant the research I will be doing to this end. Also, to help benefit them, I'm going to try and keep all the graphics and fancy stuff to a minimum, at least upgrade their Internet connection. They, unfortunately, don't have too many options in that regard... So please be mindful of that fact as you post pictures and graphics not only to your picture areas but also to your blogs.

Also, Mom and Dad, you both will have to let me know how the website feels over dial-up so that I know if things are getting a bit too sluggish. Hopefully, though, since we are all aware of this limitation we can keep the problems to a minimum. :)
